Because the credit card has clearly become the No. 1 payment method around the world, it is the main focus of Pago's Payment Services Portfolio. As an acquirer for the European license area, pago Online Acceptance provides credit card acceptance and complete payment processing for Visa and MasterCard. At the same time Pago serves Point-of-Sale merchants with its Pago PoS Acceptance service.

Pago also focusses on relevant national payment methods within Europe. Pago Direct Debit covers the processing of relevant direct debit methods in Austria, the Netherlands and for Germany "elektronische Lastschrift" (ELV). Pago's own Online Bank Transfer is also available for German consumers – providing a modern, fast and safe payment method using the principles of homebanking.

Risk Management Portfolio

Fraud protection is still the main task of risk management in online trading. Pago Fraud Screening is a reliable and proven service, which can significantly reduce the risks in credit card transactions. Address Verification Service (Pago AVS) verifies address data of US customers during credit card transactions; and Pago 3D-Secure supports the authorizing systems Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

Pago also offers checking procedures for credit card data and bank data (Pago Card Check und Pago Account Check) and for the German "elektronische Lastschrift" (ELV) its Pago ELV Check.
