Pago is an acquirer for Visa and MasterCard throughout Europe and is a processor for American Express, Diners Club, Switch / Solo and JCB. Moreover Pago processes direct debit transactions from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. German consumers can also use Pago's own Online Bank Transfer, an innovative payment method based on homebanking procedures.

 

Pago's risk management services protect merchants against bad debt risks. These services range from Pago Account Check, Address Verification Service (Pago AVS), Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code to Pago Fraud Screening, a comprehensive service for credit card transactions.

 

Transparency, quality and support are provided by Client Services. Using our unique Online Reporting (Pago BIS, Pago CIS and Pago WebDebtor) Pago clients have access to full transparency of all transactions.

Pago was founded in 1999 and is a Deutsche Bank AG and Beisheim Holding Schweiz AG company, offering its services through a global network of partners. At present Pago has over 5.700 active online-shop connections. Among its clients are more than 780 companies from various industries including: e-Retailing, telecommunications and travel. (eff.
