Jürgen Herold new additional Managing Director of Pago

Cologne, 05 December 2006 – On 1 December Jürgen Herold was appointed additional Managing Director of Pago, responsible for Sales and Product Management. Pago is one of the leading Acquiring and Payment Service Providers. 45-year-old Herold was previously an executive manager at Easycash GmbH, the largest POS network operator in Germany. At Easycash he was Head of  Business Development, responsible for long-term strategy for SEPA requirements. With this new executive addition, Pago has laid the foundation for the next stage of its success story which began back in 2000.

“Extending Pago’s leading position and developing the company’s full potential into full blossom is a challenge I am really looking forward to,” said Jürgen Herold. Dr. Markus Weber, Managing Director and Spokesman of the Board of Pago, welcomed the support and additional competence in leading the company: “SEPA and the ongoing market consolidation are issues which mean more challenges for Pago. Jürgen Herold’s experience, especially in the POS field, will be a crucial advantage for us.”
