Pago Business Barometer

The Pago Business Barometer provides you with useful analyses of patterns and trends in German and international consumer purchasing and paying behaviour. The results are - as in the Pago Report - based on real purchase transactions processed through the Pago platform and then analysed by experts.

The 'Analysis of the Month' highlights one particular aspect of online business in detail.

Our December 2004 analysis:

Women Catch up in E-Commerce Usage

More than two fifths of all online purchases are accounted for by female consumers. Women especially like 'E-Retailing', the sale of goods on the internet. In this segment, largely comparable to the conventional mail-order business, clothing, cosmetics, books, CDs, DVDs, video tapes and goods for everyday needs are offered.

Womens’ and mens’ shares of purchase transactions in German online shops.

Pago Business Barometer in the Press

As more Pago Business Barometer publications appear in German and international papers and magazines, we will list these here.
