![]() Prerequisites and restrictions As AVS is a service provided by Visa and MasterCard, it is only available for transactions involving these card brands.
AVS is basically available only for for US cards; however, AVS is also available for British Visa cards.

Address data entered during an order process are routed to the card issuer for verification. The issuer compares the received data with the data stored and returns the result.
Pago AVS returns a response to the merchant indicating if the submitted address data corresponds to the card issuer’s billing data.
You can predefine the required procedure for AVS rejections during the payment process. In this way, AVS results can be individually integrated into your specific Pago risk policy.
