Pago enforces Top Level Management - Jürgen Herold new additional Managing Director of Pago
Cologne, 05 December 2006 – On 1 December Jürgen Herold was appointed additional Managing Director of Pago, responsible for Sales and Product Management. Pago is one of the leading Acquiring and Payment Service Providers. 45-year-old Herold was previously an executive manager at Easycash GmbH, the largest POS network operator in Germany. At Easycash he was Head of Business Development, responsible for long-term strategy for SEPA requirements. With this new executive addition, Pago has laid the foundation for the next stage of its success story which began back in 2000.

Pago reorganizes Sales Force - Marc Poenitz appointed new Head of Sales
Cologne, July 25, 2006 – Pago eTransaction Services has reorganized its sales force. As of July 1 Marc Poenitz has been appointed Head of Sales at Pago, a leading Aquiring & Payment Service Provider. Before joining Pago, the 41 year old worked as sales manager for e-commerce and mail-order business at B+S Card Service, a leading German credit card merchant bank. At B+S Poenitz was in charge of European sales activities. “To reinforce Pago’s sales force and to optimize its structure is an exciting and attractive challenge, which I am really looking forward to”, says Poenitz.

First Data to process Maestro transactions for Pago

Changes in Pago’s Management - Tobias Hauptvogel appointed new Head of Corporate Communications
Cologne, July 13, 2006 – As of July 1, 2006 Pago changed management of its Corporate Communications department. After more than six years with the company, Andreas Stefanis has left the Acquiring & Payment Service Provider. Succeeding him as Head of Corporate Communications is Tobias Hauptvogel, who will be in charge of Marketing and PR.

Pago Report 2006: Important Trends in European e-Payment
Cologne, 8th May 2006 – Pago eTransaction Services, an Acquiring and Payment Service Provider, has just published its annual analysis of purchase transactions in European online shops in a unique e-commerce survey entitled "Trends in Consumer Purchasing and Payment Behaviour in selected E-commerce Industries 2005". The study is unique because it is the only international e-commerce survey which is based on real-life purchase transactions and does not rely only on consumer polls. The 170-page report includes about 100 tables and nearly 100 informative graphs providing even more detailed analysis than its five predecessors.

Pago can now offer giropay acceptance to all online merchants
Cologne, 3 March 2006 – Pago, one of the leading international Acquiring and Payment Service Providers, is to offer giropay – a new payment method similar to the online bank transfer – as from April 2006. Like the Pago Online Bank Transfer, giropay is based on conventional home banking procedures, allowing consumers to pay for online purchases by directly initiating fund transfers directly using familiar PIN and TAN procedures. And giropay guarantees payment to the merchant. Once it has accepted a giropay transaction, the consumer’s bank guarantees payment to the merchant.

Pago reports successful year 2005
Cologne, January 27, 2006 – Pago, one of the leading international acquiring and payment service providers, has reported a successful financial year for 2006. The second half of the year was particularly good, showing sales growth of more than 40% compared with the previous year's second half. One of the main reasons for this positive development was a further increase in the number of new shop connections, totalling over 7,600 at year end.
